From September 25 to October 1, 2016, POCACITO visited Minneapolis, MN, Memphis, TN and Detroit, MI for three town hall meetings and three workshops.

Chiara Lucchini is an architect from Turin, Italy. Focus area: revitalizing industrial sites for business, residential and recreational use. Chiara worked until 2005 in Barcelona, where she worked with design offices and worked in editorial field, publishing about architecture. In 2006, she was a research fellow at the Department of Architecture and Design at the Politecnico di Torino, of which she is currently teaching assistant for the Courses in Architectural and Urban Design. She is pursuing her PhD in “Public Policies” at the IUAV in Venice. Since 2007 she works in the projects staff of Urban Center Metropolitano. In 2008 she founded the Association Argent de Posh, of which she is President.

Oeystein Leonardsen, is a neighborhood manager from Copenhagen, Denmark. Focus on: community engagement for business improvement districts. Oeystein is a senior politcal advisor, highly experienced in international networks among regional authorities, cooperation with resarchers at Roskilde Universety, Technical University of Denmark. Project manager at large urban regeneration and traffic planning. Specialties: Negotiation, networking, urban development, urban policy, urban strategy, economic modelling, project manager.
Francisco Gonçalves, from Lisbon, Portugal. Focus: energy-water management. Francisco is an environmental engineer, IPMVP certified, with strong work experience in sustainable energy management – energy efficiency and renewable energy, at the moment, coordinating projects in the fields of energy efficiency, low carbon energy production and urban water management in Lisbon’s Environment and Energy Agency.
