Youth Forum 2026

For the very first time, we are hosting a Youth Forum. This event will be open to high school and undergraduate students from around the world and will be held online on October 21, 2026, from 8am PT / 10am CT / 11am ET / 3pm GMT / 4pm CET / 10pm WIB, running for 2 hours.

Our theme: environmental data and information.

We are looking forward to learning together about how to find, access, analyze and interpret environmental data and information from various sources and on a range of topics.

Graduate students - three of you will be able to share how you have worked with environmental data and information. In the breakout groups, you will work with high school students to share your methods and tools.

High school students - you will learn from three graduate students about how they accessed and used environmental data and information. You can then chose one of the breakout groups to learn more details and apply the methods and tools step by step.

All presenting graduate students are invited to showcase their work in the form of a poster at the 2026 Forum on October 28.

All participants to the Youth Forum will receive a training certificate.
